Aww! Thank you. You're too sweet. :D
Why did you drop out of art school?
It's actually a quite long and complicated story, but in a nutshell... I hated the school in general, and the program I was in (Design), I found to be too limiting creatively and very focused on the more commercial part of design which to an extent I didn't agree with. Not to mention, I was going through a huge burnt out period then. So in a nutshell, that's why. XD
What's your muse, if you have one?
Hmmm... I don't know if there's really one person in particular, but I'm very much inspired by modern art (pop art, automatism, abstract expressionism), illustrated children's books and collages. :D
Catcaking is for happy times? :B
Always! ;)
Where are all the places you've lived? (Assuming you've moved before.)
Let's see. We've moved a bunch of times actually. XD I was born and spent the first 7 years of my life in Ontario (we lived in Blenheim, Chatham, London and Sarnia), and then we moved to Nova Scotia where I currently live. My family's lived in 3 houses in NS. I've also lived on my own in Toronto for a year (when I was attending York University), and I'm in my second year of living on my own in Wolfville (where I attend Acadia University). Then in the fall, my whole family is moving to Toronto.
Do you live with your family (parents, etc), by yourself, or with friends?
Heh, this is where it gets confusing! I go to school about an hour away from my parents house, so during the school year, I live in an apartment near campus by myself. When I'm not in school, I live with my parents, though I do visit them often during the school year (usually every 2nd or 3rd weekend I'll go home). Next year though, my parents are moving across the country, so I'll be living solely with two of my friends. :)
I used to. XD I went through French immersion in school, so my primary language for learning was French. However, I live in a completely English-speaking community, so we never spoke it outside of class. Now that I've been out of school for 4 years and haven't really had to use the language any more, I'm slowly starting to lose it. I can still read it, speak it and understand it if someone's talking to me, but specific things like proper verb conjugation are starting to go, and I'm sure I'd have to look up words in the dictionary as I forget them. XD
You're so gorgeous I can't find anything to ask..:/
*blushes lots* Too sweet.
Hmm, I get the feeling this has some sort of fancy pants metaphorical meaning, but I'm too lazy to attempt to answer it intelligently. :P So I'll go with grey because strangely, I really like the colour grey. Don't ask my why, because in all honesty, I don't know. :P
Oo, I have this wonderfully tacky red earrings - they're about the size of a dime and have a little gold swirlie doodad on them and they're absolutely fabulous! They used to be my grandmother's a looong time ago, and she gave them to me when I was really little. I'm so glad I hung onto them since I wear them all the time. :D
